Legal Week partners with SCSA for the African Legal Awards

Save the Children South Africa (SCSA) has been selected as the charity partner for this year’s African Legal Awards. The awards, which are set out to recognise exceptional achievement from within Africa's legal community, are hosted by Legal Week, the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa, and Corporate Counsel.
The funds raised before and during the event to contribute to SCSA’s Children on the Move Project.
“This event is set to host some of the continents strongest legal minds. Being selected as a charity partner for the event is made that much more tremendous, considering the work our Children on the Move Project invests in, to give migrant children of Africa a chance,” says Dianne Van der Tuin, SCSA’s Partnership Manager.
"This year we have received a record-number of submissions, with a great representation of firms across the continent. We are very much looking forward to celebrating these successes with the legal community in Africa, whilst also supporting the important work that Save the Children South Africa is doing," says Clare Sutherland, Event Director, Global Awards and Recognition, Legal Week/ALM Media
The event will take place on 6 September at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg, where 29 awards will be presented over a fabulous evening with a 3-course meal, entertainment, and celebrations with the very deserving winners!
